revisiting old paths

the trip to london was a trip down the memory lane. though i felt as if i'd just come back from a short holiday. didn't feel the time that passed since i had left.
it was good to be back for a while. good to meet my lovely people. revisit my favourite places. see what's changed. what's gone and what's new. see myself against all the changes. see what has changed in me and what is still the same. realise what i have lost and what i have gained by leaving and moving to turkey. realise i love this city. realise i would not be able to live there anymore.

i'm so happy i could meet ania, ibo, ola, anton, my cousin grzesiu, agnieszka, my lovely friends from work: tine, bea, celine.
i'm so sad i couldn't see meral and murat, gosia and brian, agnieszka, greg and maja - i'm so sorry guys. i hope i will see you soon somehow.
it was also weird to be there alone - i missed kemal a lot and it would've been more fun if he could come with me...


i'm glad i could revisit the old paths. they helped me see the path i am on now more clearly.
